Some Thoughts June 22, 2008 The First Zero
Emission Commercial Car is Here "Honda unveils
production version of the FCX fuel-cell hybrid, the FCX Clarity" "Honda May
Mass-Produce FCX Clarity Fuel-Cell Car in 10 Years" June 11, 2008 I have to share with
you (anyone who is reading this) how inspiring and creative I think the
following ideas are. When you talk about green, envioronmentally
friendly, eco friendly ... I can think of no other endeavor closest to
those concepts than devices powered by perpetual wave motion that
produce energy as a byproduct. Yes, you read correctly - I am talking
about a "simple machine" powered by perpetual motion to make
electricity. Think about this for a moment and then consider how
distracted we all are by soaring fuel prices, the absurdity of growing
corn for ethanol to feed automobiles versus people and livestock, and
the baby steps taken and limitations of other simple machines
(windmills and solar panels) that also produce electricity/energy
(windmills are limited by weather and friction and are often, to many
observers, obtrusive).
Ok, so where is the proof - I give you a few links for
your consideration (below) and highlight some of these thoughts from
the article (first link) that convinced me. Take a deep breath and
think outside of all your daily distractions for a moment - the earth
is in perpetual motion, this is a fact. Unless the earth stops
rotating, our oceans will continue to endlessly move and produce waves.
Those simple truths stated - a simple machine that bobs or spins as a
result of the currents of the oceans will produce electricity (we
already have oil rigs off our coasts, why not convert them into
hydro-electric rigs). This is not a new concept (dams are used on
rivers for hydro electricity) but these are thoughts for a larger and
more efficient approach to this unlimited fairly untapped source of
energy. I leave you with some reading on the subject: Verdant
